15 reasons why I believe men are really like dogs...

1. When owners come home...they are greeted with a dog wagging his tail...waiting to be petted...When men come home they also want to be stroked and petted...they want to feel valued...they want and need your affection to feel connected... 
2. Dogs pee to establish their territory...Men need a place to call his...he needs his wife to create him a domain or castle, for him to rule...a home... 
3. Dogs love to chase....Men need to chase...provide opportunities for him to chase...They don't want you to just lay down and be their door mat...they need opportunities to feel like they have to catch up with you...this may be spiritually, physically, sexually or mentally...now don't do it in a demeaning way...but in a way that keeps them intrigued...that makes them want to take off...and chase you...make your No's count...in a way that leaves him anticipating... 
4. Dogs love just laying in your lap...Men need to be able to escape all the BS of the world...and just be held by you...and know you got their back no matter what...they need your loyalty and they need to feel they have a place and belonging in the family...
5. Dogs are a man's best friend...Men need to feel like they are your friend...build something with them...you don't have to have everything in common with them...but find something that he likes that you can share together...not only work together but play together...
6. Dogs love to hide a bone...Men need to be able to hide his bone IN YOU..often...enough said...
7. When male dogs fight...one will establish dominance over the other one...Men need to be able to rule...to feel in control...to be able to be the head honcho...
8. Dogs have to either be on a leash or in a fenced yard...Men need clear defined boundaries...they don't need free reign...too much freedom is not good...and not enough freedom is not good...don't expect them to just know....set some standards ladies...
9. Dogs wait to be fed...Men need you to nourish them mentally, spiritually, physically and naturally...they need to look to you for a kind uplifting word...for a word to motivate them...for you to make nutritious choices for them to operate at optimum levels...they need you to feed not only their physical needs...but they need you to feed their very soul...
10. Sometimes dogs get fleas...sometimes they get dirty and we have to clean them...Men need you to help them get rid of the bad things...things that are harmful to them..they need you to do this in a kind, nurturing, compassionate and understanding way...Not in a nagging way or looking down on them for their failures, mistakes and mishaps...we are there to get rid of anything that doesn't build them up and help them be better...
11. Sometimes dogs tear up things...they bite your shoe...they slob on your sofa...but despite messing up, they know their owner will still love them...Men need you to understand they are like dogs...they may mess up sometimes....but they need you to approach each mess up the same...with love...not hold it against them..but understand they are human...now this does not mean go against the vows...but if they forget to empty the trash...don't go postal...
12. When a dog is treated good, he's loyal...when he's not...he will bolt the first chance he can...Men are the same way...when they don't feel love and appreciation...they will begin doing anything to escape...might be by drinking...drugs...running the streets....porn....another woman...just anything but you...
13. Dogs fiercely protect their owners...Men are protective too...what belongs to them belongs to them...they are jealous...and they need to be able to trust you...
14. Dogs love playing fetch...where the owner throws the ball beyond them...and they run to go and get it...and bring it back to you...and they really love when they earn a dogie biscuit or treat.....Men need opportunities to do what you ask of them...they need time to show you a finished product...time to go and do it and present it to you...they might be slower..but you got to stand there and have patience...give them time to complete the goal...and they need to be rewarded and acknowledged for accomplishing it...
15. Owners have to teach their dogs how to walk...lock and step with them...They learn by watching you walk...they learn your rhythm...Men, more than anything; need to see you walk the path you want them to walk...walk in the LORD...and take him with you...just like a dog...once he learns to walk..let him go a little bit ahead...and you walk in cadence on the side of him...you don't have to pull the leash as much...just hold it gently....

Yeah...so when I hear "men are like dogs"...I do agree with them...but as a woman, do you really understand what that means?...and are you using that knowledge to your advantage?....
